ONE LAST TIME: Trey Robinson returning to NKU for final season

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – One. Last. Ride.
 
Northern Kentucky standout and team leader Trey Robinson is returning to the Norse for his final season to take another run at the Horizon League title in 2024-25.
 
The reigning conference Defensive Player of the Year is coming off a career year in which he averaged 11.7 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.8 steals per contest. He saved his best for last as he dropped a career-best 33 points and nine boards in the Horizon Semifinals which earned him conference All-Tournament Team honors.
 
For his career, the Hamilton, Ohio native has racked up 873 points, 510 rebounds, 157 assists, 149 steals and 41 blocks. He has the chance to become just the 31st student-athlete in program history and the eighth student-athlete in NKU's NCAA Division I era to crack the 1,000-point plateau.
 
He also can become just the eighth student-athlete in school history to notch 1,000-plus career points and 600-plus career boards.
