Bradley goes pro; signs with EPG Baskets Koblenz of the German ProA League

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Following his standout year with the Northern Kentucky men's basketball program, point guard Michael Bradley will get his professional career underway after signing with EPG Baskets Koblenz out of the Germany ProA League.

Bradley made a huge impact in his lone year with the Norse as the guiding hand of the NKU offense after transferring in from Mercyhurst out of NCAA Division II. In 33 games with the Norse, Bradley averaged 10.2 points, 4.5 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.4 steals per contest, all while shooting 42.1 percent from the field and 37.8 percent from beyond the arc.
 
He finished the year tied for the Horizon League lead in assists per game to go with being ranked second in the conference in total assists (150), eighth in minutes played per game (33.7), tied for tenth in steals per contest, 13th in swipes overall (45), 16th in made three's (54) and tied for 17th in three-pointers per game (1.6).
 
Three of Bradley's best games dishing the ball ranked in the top-six of all Horizon League student-athletes this past season as he went for 11 helpers against Youngstown State and nine versus both Robert Morris and Milwaukee. The point guard also posted six games this past year with no turnovers, all while averaging 35.5 minutes per game in those zero turnover contests.
 
On the national scene, Bradley slotted in at 49th in all of NCAA Division I basketball in assist to turnover ratio (2.54), 77th in total assists, 85th in assists per game, 180th in minutes per contest, 250th in total steals and 281st in steals per game.

For his collegiate career, the San Antonio, Texas native finished with 1,452 points, 536 assists, 388 boards and 176 steals over his five years with the Norse and Lakers. His teams went 100-37 overall (.729) while he was on the floor running the point.
 
The ProA league is the second-tier league of professional club basketball in Germany. Founded in 2007-08, the league is composed of 16 teams and the top two squads at the end of the season qualify for the Basketball Bundesliga, the highest level of professional club basketball in Germany.
