HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky men's and women's tennis programs have finalized their respective Fall schedules, head coach
Brian Nester announced Wednesday.
The men's team is set to start its Fall slate in a little over a week, as the Norse are set to play in the Toledo Invitational on September 20. The women will begin play one week later at the Dayton Invitational on September 27.
Brian Nester begins his 13th season in Highland Heights this year after leading the NKU men's program to a third straight winning season and the women's program to the Horizon League semifinals.
Nester has led his student-athletes to success off the court as well, with both programs ranking among the best on campus with a GPA above 3.3 in 2023-24. In 2021, each program earned the Raise Your Sights honor for their work in the classroom.
On the men's side,
Emilio Bravo is the lone returner, coming back as a junior.
Six Norse return for the women's team, with
Alyssa Cameron,
Catharina Cardoso,
Ashlee Fisk,
Darya Gneydina,
Mariajose Hernandez and
Didi Steenhuis back for another season.
