HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky will compete in swimming for the first time in school history in 2024-25, and Kevin Woodhull-Smith has finalized the first schedule in program history. The Norse will hit the pool for the first time on October 5.
Woodhull-Smith was hired as the first head coach of the Northern Kentucky swim program in April and is set to lead both the men's and women's swim teams in six meets this season, with three in the Fall semester and three more in the Spring.
The Norse swimming squads will compete for the first time ever on October 5 at Horizon League rival IU-Indy, taking on the host Jaguars and the Salukis of Southern Illinois.
NKU will dive into meets at Xavier (November 2) and at the House of Champions Invitational (November 21-23) before the holiday break.
In the Spring semester, Northern Kentucky will swim in meets at Bellarmine (January 18) and at U-Indy (January 25) before the Horizon League Championships in Indianapolis (February 19-22).
