INDIANAPOLIS, IND. — Northern Kentucky University Norse swimming traveled up to the Horizon League Championships from February 18-21 at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis. While the Norse finished last in the league on both the men's (150.5 points) and women's (131 points) sides, NKU still set plenty of program records at the event.
TOP PERFORMERS
Macy Ganshert grabbed a fifth-place finish in the 100 Butterfly, swimming a 56.15.
Macy Ganshert swam a 23.75 in the 50 Free, finishing 11th overall.
Ava Hansen finished in 4:36.68 in the 400 IM, finishing in 12th place.
Isaac Barrow swam a 49.81 in the 100 Backstroke, finishing tied for 12th. Right behind him was
David Barnett, who finished in 50.09 and in 14th.
Isaac Barrow notched a 13th-place finish in the 200 IM final, swimming a 1:50.50.
Brooke Cummings swam a 2:10.02 in the 200 Butterfly, finishing in 13th.
Macy Ganshert finished in 13th in the 100 Free, finishing in 52.64.
Ethan Johnson swam a 4:04.26 in the 400 IM final, good for 13th place.
Jarrett Jenkins swam a 20.31 in the men's 50 Free final, finishing in 14th.
AJ Gomez swam a 1:50.73 int he 200 Butterfly, finishing 14th.
Hailey Paulick swam a 1:56.41 in the 200 Free, finishing 15th overall.

NKU's men's 400 Medley relay squad of

Isaac Barrow, Charlie Pressler, and
Patrick Gibbons finished in 3:20.33 and in sixth.
The men's 400 Free relay team of
Patrick Gibbons, Cam Craft, Jarett Jenkins, and
Conner Norton finished in 3:01.25, in sixth.
