HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — Northern Kentucky volleyball finished off non-conference play with an undefeated weekend at the Groen Family McDonald's NKU Invitational.
After taking down Xavier on Thursday, the Norse finished off the weekend in dominant fashion by sweeping Miami (OH) Saturday at Regents Hall.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
- Northern Kentucky dominated offensively with an efficient attack, finishing the match with a .260 hitting percentage as a team.
- Joy Banks continued her dominant start to the season with another double-double, her fourth in a row and sixth of the season.
- Lucy Cluxton's 13 digs marked her 10th straight match with 10+ digs.
- Sydney Bray paced Northern Kentucky in kills with 11.
- NKU finished with five blocks, led by Ivey Stocks' trio of rejections.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Northern Kentucky picked up a pair 25-21 wins in the first two sets. The Norse hit a scalding .342 in the first set, and held Miami to a mere .083 in the second set.
- Sheer dominance from the Norse secured the sweep with a 25-14 victory. NKU hit .345 in the set, the highest rate they've posted in a set this season.
