Nine Norse record top-five finishes at PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Northern Kentucky University men's and women's track and field programs competed at the PNC Bank Bellarmine Classic, the team's third and final meet at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center of the 2024-25 indoor season.

NOTABLES
- Sierra Kendall finished fourth in the 60m hurdles, running a 9.23 in the finals. Kendall also ran in the 200m, setting a personal best with a time of 26.63.
- Also in the 200m women's race, Cameron Bitterman finished fifth with a time of 25.48, while Joi Bradley and Madison McDaniel set new personal bests with times of 26.59 and 26.65, respectively.
- In the seeded division of the women's 800m race, Olivia Kennedy recorded another strong showing, finishing second at 2:15.77.
- Macie Radcliffe set a personal best in the mile with a time of 5:17.05, finishing fourth in the race.
- Kierra Morris recorded a great leap of 5.33m in the long jump, finishing fifth and setting a season-best for the junior.
- Brayden Holland set a new personal best of 50.61 in the 400m race, good for a third-place finish.
- In the 800m race, NKU saw Brady Messer and Preston Winiger both finish in the top seven out of 27 total competitors. Messer finished in fourth with a time of 1:54.51, while Winiger finished in seventh in 1:56.41.
- Freshman Alden Williams finished in fifth in the long jump, recording a leap of 6.44m.

NEXT UP
NKU heads to Indianapolis for a multi-day event on January 31 & February 1 as they compete at the Midwest Classic next weekend.
