HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University Norse women's soccer took on Cleveland State at home on Thursday night, looking to improve their second-place conference standing with another home victory. Entering the match, Northern Kentucky had been dominant at home, holding a 5-0 record and a +23 goal differential in Highland Heights, without allowing a goal. The Norse played the Vikings to a scoreless draw, keeping their home shutout streak alive.

Megan Gessner made five saves in the match, and perhaps her best came in the 51st minute, as she was able to parry away a one-on-one opportunity.
– Another opportunity came in the 53rd minute, but a
Lilly Yordy attempt was saved.
– The Vikings controlled possession down the final stretch, but neither team was able to break the deadlock.
