Women’s Soccer takes down Purdue Fort Wayne on the road

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – Northern Kentucky University Norse women's soccer took on Purdue Fort Wayne at the Hefner Soccer Complex in Fort Wayne, Ind. Thursday night.  The match remained knotted at 0 until the Norse took the lead with a penalty kick from Lilly Yordy in the 75th minute, and were able to hang on for the win.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
– Northern Kentucky dominated the shot battle 26-9, won the shot on goal battle 13-2, and took the corner battle 9-1.
– Grad forward Lilly Yordy's penalty kick was the difference in the match in the 75th minute.
– Senior Megan Gessner recorded two saves in the win.
