Strong second half propels Norse past Rockets, 70-61

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University women's basketball defended its home court on Wednesday morning, using a dominant second half to surge past Toledo 70-61, inside Truist Arena. In front of a raucous Education Day crowd of 3,147, the Norse battled back from a halftime deficit and controlled the final 20 minutes to secure the victory.

- After trailing by eight in the second quarter, NKU outscored Toledo 43-30 in the second half, including 21-9 in the fourth quarter.
