CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Northern Kentucky University's women's basketball put together a strong second-half push on Saturday afternoon at McKenzie Arena, but the Norse came up just short in a 64-62 road loss to Chattanooga. NKU outscored the Mocs 24-16 in the third quarter to flip a halftime deficit into an eight-point lead, but a late Chattanooga surge in the final minutes proved to be the difference.

Karina Bystry paced the Norse with 21 points, going 5-for-10 from the field and 9-for-11 at the free-throw line. She also pulled down five rebounds and added two steals.

Abby Wolterman delivered an efficient afternoon, scoring 12 points on 5-for-6 shooting while adding three rebounds.

Mya Meredith added 10 points, three rebounds, two assists, and three steals.
- NKU's bench was a major factor, outscoring Chattanooga's reserves 33–12, led by Meredith and Wolterman.
- After trailing 29-23 at the half, NKU exploded for 24 third-quarter points, shooting 58.3 percent in the period and using an 11–0 run to take control.
- NKU shot 45.5 percent from the field, including 33.3 percent from three.
