ROCHESTER, Mich. – Entering Saturday afternoon's contest with Oakland, the Norse just needed a win over the Golden Grizzlies to claim its first-ever Horizon League Regular Season Championship. As it has all season, NKU dominated the Golden Grizzlies, winning in three sets to take the conference title and the number one seed in the Horizon League Tournament. It marks Northern Kentucky's first Horizon League regular-season title.

– The Norse grabbed their eleventh-straight win with the victory, which remains their longest since joining Division I.
