Norse fall at home to Oakland

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University Norse men's basketball took on Oakland on Wednesday night after a four-point road win over Bellarmine on Saturday. In a fantastic game with 18 lead changes and 12 ties, Oakland pulled away at the last second to push the Norse to 1-2 in Horizon League play.

BOX SCORE BREAKDOWN
– Northern Kentucky had nine blocks in the game, which tied a season-high also set on November 26 vs. Wofford. 
– The Norse pounded the paint, scoring 50 of their 77 points near the rim. NKU shot 44.3% from the field, 23.1% from three, and 75.0% from the line. 
Kael Robinson scored 22 points on 10-16 shooting with seven rebounds, two steals, and a block. 
LJ Wells had 18 points, nine rebounds, and six assists on 8-15 shooting. 16 of his 18 points came in the first half.
Tae Dozier had 11 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and a season-high five blocks.
Donovan Oday scored 11 points, and had two steals and a block. 
Ethan Elliott had ten points and five assists.
