HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University Norse men's basketball faced College of Charleston in the non-conference finale of the 2025-26 season on Sunday, looking to bounce back from a Wednesday night loss against Oakland. After falling behind in the first half, the Norse battled back to take a second-half lead, but struggled to score down the stretch as they were outmatched by the Cougars.

– Charleston was extremely efficient from the field, shooting 54.7% on the day to just 39.1% from NKU. Northern Kentucky shot just 10-33 behind the arc, while Charleston went 7-20.

Kael Robinson scored 22 points for the second straight game, going 5-10 from three, but struggled inside, going just 1-6 on twos. Robinson added nine rebounds on the day.

Donovan Oday scored 20 points, second on the team, as he went 9-19 from the field with six rebounds and two steals.

Dan Gherezgher bounced back from a rough Wednesday night with an 18-point game, hitting three threes. He also had three assists and two steals.
