NKU Cross Country, Track & Field Announces Starting Blocks Banquet

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University Norse athletics are excited to announce Starting Blocks: A celebration of former, present, and future NKU Cross Country/Track & Field.

"This is the first major fundraiser that the Men's & Women's cross country/track & field teams have ever done, and it could very well turn into a Kruse roast," remarked Norse head coach Steve Kruse. "However it unfolds, it will be a very fun evening with many memories shared & made."

The event will be held on Friday, January 23, from 6-9 PM in the James C. Votruba Ballroom in the Northern Kentucky University student union. Hosted by former Norse cross country/track and field student-athlete Andy Kennedy ('05), the banquet will feature a silent auction and a Q&A with coaches, along with a dinner buffet and a cash bar. Former student-athletes, supporters of NKU cross country and track & field are welcome to join, with registration information available in the coming weeks.
