HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — Northern Kentucky men's basketball is headed to the Horizon League Tournament on a hot streak, as the Norse won their fourth in a row on Senior Day with a victory over Youngstown State.
Prior to the game, NKU honored Josh Dilling, Jake Evans, Keeyan Itejere, and Sam Vinson for their contributions to the program.

BOX SCORE BREAKDOWN
- Four Norse finished in double figures, led by Trey Robinson's 24 point, seven rebound day. Robinson finished 6-9 from the field, 1-1 from 3PT range, and 11-14 from the foul line.
- Josh Dilling finished with 23 points, tying his season-high in 3PT shots made with seven. Dilling grabbed five boards and dished out a pair of assists as well.
- Sam Vinson had another all-around great performance, posting 12 points, three rebounds, six assists, two steals, and a block in the win.
- Keeyan Itejere shot a perfect 6-6 from the floor as part of a 12 point, five rebound, two block day.
- Dan Gherezgher provided the dagger for the Norse with his lone 3PT basket of the game. Gherezgher finished with nine points and four rebounds.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- After a back and forth first half, the Norse ended the half in a big way, ripping off a 20-3 run to lead 43-45 at the break.
- The second half was just as high scoring, with NKU leading by as many as 19 in the final 20 minutes. The Penguins cut the lead the four, but NKU's Dan Gherezgher knocked down a three with just 53 seconds remaining to put the game out of reach.
UP NEXT
- The Norse will await results from around the league to see who they will host in the Barbasol Horizon League Tournament's opening round. NKU will host a lower seed on Tuesday at Truist Arena, with tipoff set for 1 PM.
