NORSE NOTES
- Things started off really slow for both offenses, as Austin Peay led just 1-0 after four. Beatty's two-out, one-run infield single helped the Norse tie things up in the fifth.
- APSU pulled ahead in the bottom half of the fifth with a bases-loaded sacrifice fly. A single up the middle on the next at-bat gave the Govs a two-run advantage.
- NKU tried to rally back in the sixth, as Keltner hit a two-out RBI double that scored
Stella Wulker, who led off the inning by getting hit by a pitch. Down one to start the seventh,
Mack Brow drew a four-pitch walk to lead things off. A sacrifice from Rhoads moved Brow to second, with big bats Beatty and Pastin attempting to bring her home. A pop-up and a strikeout ended things for the Norse.
