Addison Archer signs with Norse Men's Basketball

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — Northern Kentucky men's basketball has received a commitment from Addison Archer, head coach Darrin Horn announced Monday.

"Addison is a terrific basketball mover and runner at his size who grabs the ball at a high rate," said Coach Horn. "He is a lob threat with good touch as evident by his finishing numbers and 83 percent free throw percentage. He made great strides in his development from year one to two in JUCO and we expect him to make another big jump this year."

Archer comes to Highland Heights from Ranger College (JUCO) in Ranger, Texas, where he averaged 9.0 PTS, 5.1 REB, and over a block per game for the Rangers. He was highly efficient from the floor, shooting 55.6% overall and 47.7% in conference play while making 83.6% of his free throws (51-61 FT).

Archer was a key for the Rangers in March, averaging over 13 PTS per game on 54% shooting while going a perfect 8-8 from the foul line. On the season, Archer racked up 15 double-figure games, including a season-high 18 points vs. Weatherford College on March 5.

Archer will join the Norse as a junior in 2025, and is originally from Charlotte, North Carolina.
