HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — Northern Kentucky STUNT is set to compete in the program's first ever conference tournament this weekend, as the Norse will battle Trevecca Nazarene in the first round of the Mid America West Conference Tournament.
The tournament, which begins on Friday, is set to take place at Historic Memorial Coliseum in Lexington, Kentucky. The Kentucky Wildcats are the host and No. 1 seed.
With a victory, the Norse will play the winner of UT Martin & Central Arkansas.
NKU is the No. 7 seed in the tournament after wrapping up the regular season last weekend in Nashville, Tennessee. The Norse picked up the first win in program history back on March 16, with an 8-5 victory over Centenary College.
Head Coach Shayla Myles-Aaron and the Norse are excited to compete close to home this weekend. NKU's game vs. Trevecca is set to begin at 2 PM on Friday, April 4.
