ATHENS, Ohio – Northern Kentucky University Norse Women's Soccer traveled to Ohio University on Thursday, taking on the Ohio Bobcats in a midweek matchup. The Norse, who came into the game undefeated at 3-0-2, looked to improve their record as they netted an early goal courtesy of
Erykah Cornett. A late Bobcat goal leveled the score at 1-1, where it remained for the rest of the match.

Erykah Cornett scored a lead-taking goal in the 17th minute, putting the ball in the back of the net off a deflected pass from
Meghan Belrose, who notched her first assist of the season. Cornett's goal was her third of the season, tied for second-best on the Norse.
– Despite leading at the half, the Bobcats led in both the shot and corner battle.
– In the second half, the Norse continued to play great defensive ball, as
Megan Gessner totaled seven saves in the match.
– A 70th-minute goal from Ohio tied the match at one. NKU played solid defense down the stretch to earn the point.
