Norse set new single-match margin of victory record in seven-nil win over Purdue Fort Wayne

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Following a nil-nil draw against Cleveland State on Thursday, Northern Kentucky University Norse women's soccer took on Purdue Fort Wayne on Sunday afternoon. After 28 shots without finding the net, the Norse reversed their luck in a seven-goal thrashing of the Mastodons, with five different Northern Kentucky players scoring.

The match marked NKU's largest margin of victory in a conference match in the school's NCAA Division I history, surpassing previous six-goal efforts. NKU's seven goals tied the most the Norse have scored against a conference opponent since joining the NCAA's top tier in 2012, matching their seven in a 7-1 win over Youngstown State in 2017.
