Northern Kentucky Men’s and Women’s Swimming programs tabbed to CSCAA Spring 2026 Scholar All-America Teams

RICHMOND, Va. – Northern Kentucky University Norse men's and women's swimming programs both earned an academic honor in July, as both programs were named as the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America's (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Teams for the spring 2026 semester. It marked the second consecutive semester for both programs and the third overall selection for the Northern Kentucky men's swimming program. 

Led by head coach Kevin Woodhull-Smith, Northern Kentucky University swimming saw a major improvement in the program's second year in 2025-26, as the Norse men won their first ever meet, the Norse women earned NKU's first-ever top-ten individual finish at the Horizon League Championships, and the program hosted its first-ever home meet. 

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
