– Northern Kentucky shot 51% from the field and 35.7% from three, while shooting 19-26 from the free throw line. They limited Cleveland State to shoot just 40% from the field and 20.8% from the line, while shooting 17-21 from the stripe.
– The Norse won the battle on the glass, limiting Cleveland State to eight offensive boards, grabbing 31 defensive rebounds on the night and 38 in total.
– NKU lost the turnover battle, 12-14, but scored more points off those turnovers (15-12).

LJ Wells led all players with 24 points and 12 rebounds, his fifth double-double of the season. He went 12-16 from the free throw line, marking a new career-high for the senior from the stripe.

Donovan Oday scored 22 points, grabbed three rebounds, and blocked three shots, but most notably, finished the game without a miss – neither from the field nor at the free throw line – something no Norse has done since the team joined Division I while scoring 20+ points. He finished 8-8 from the field, 2-2 from three, and 4-4 from the free throw line. His eight made field goals without a miss also marked the most for any Norse in a game in the Division I era.
