HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University Norse women's basketball looked to break a three-game skid on Tuesday night, taking on Oakland to end a three-game homestand. The Norse built up a double-digit lead on the Golden Grizzlies in the first half, but Oakland came back in the third to make things interesting. The squads went back and forth in the final period, but Oakland took a four-point lead with under a minute to go. Clutch buckets from Mya Meredith, Karina Bystry, and a game-winning and-one from Anna Hamilton lifted the Norse over Oakland in the final seconds, sealing a massive conference win for NKU.

- Northern Kentucky shot 45.8% from the field, 27.8% from three, and 85.7% from the free throw line, while the Golden Grizzlies shot 43.9% from the floor, 34.6% from three, and 73.9% at the charity stripe. 
- NKU recorded 12 turnovers while forcing 14 Oakland turnovers. The Norse scored 18 points off those turnovers, recording ten steals. 
- The Norse won the rebound battle, 34-32. 
- NKU scored 40 of its 77 points in the paint.
- Karina Bystry led the Norse with 19 points, shooting 6-16 from the field and 6-8 from the line, grabbing three rebounds and recording a pair of steals. 
- Mya Meredith tied her season-high with 18 points, going 6-8 from the field and 5-6 on free throws. She also grabbed six rebounds and dished out three assists. 
- Maddie Moody recorded 14 points, with 12 of those coming in the first half. She finished with six rebounds and went 6-8 from the floor. 
- Anna Hamilton stepped up big, setting a new career-high with 12 points. She went 4-7 from the floor and 3-3 from the line, including the game-sealing free throw.
- Abby Wolterman finished a point and a rebound shy of a double-double, and surpassed the 500 career rebounds mark in the first half.
