CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University Norse men's tennis continued Horizon League play on Saturday, taking on Youngstown State. Northern Kentucky dropped the contest 2-5 as it moved to 0-2 in conference play.
NKU earned the doubles point, as the #36 pair in the nation,
Joao Pimenta and Mateus Ranciaro, bounced back from a loss to Cleveland State with a tiebreak victory in the #1 slot.
Jackson Poulos and
Emilio Bravo's 7-5 win in the #2 slot sealed the point for the Norse.
In singles play,
Emilio Bravo was the only Norse to win a match, going 6-2, 7-6 (3) as every other Norse lost in two sets.
