HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University Norse women's basketball took on IU Indy in a Horizon League Championship First Round clash on Wednesday. The Norse and Jaguars battled all game, with no team leading by more than six in the contest, but IU Indy hung on late to claim their ticket back to Indianapolis.

- Northern Kentucky shot 39.4% from the field, 40% from three, and 12-14 from the line. The Jaguars pounded the paint and were dominant inside, shooting 29-55 from the field with 25 of those makes coming from inside the painted area. They shot just 3-16 from three and 13-18 from the line.
- The Jaguars were running in transition all night, scoring 23 fast break points to NKU's 0. They forced 12 Norse turnovers, recording ten steals, while NKU forced just eight turnovers with three steals. IU Indy outscored NKU in points off turnovers 16-3.
- NKU outrebounded the Jaguars 38-29, grabbing 16 offensive boards on the night, but scoring just 11 second-chance points.
