COLUMBUS, Ohio – Northern Kentucky University Norse men's tennis battled the number two team in the country, the Ohio State Buckeyes, on Friday morning. The Norse dropped the contest, 7-0.
NKU's first doubles duo of
Jackson Poulos and
Emilio Bravo battled against the #36 pair in the nation, but fell 6-3. Mateus Ranciaro and
Dugan Fowler also took a set against their opponents in third doubles.
In singles play, all Norse fell in two sets. Arnau Puig won three games in the first set in sixth singles, while
Emilio Bravo fell 6-1, 6-2 in first singles. All other Norse won two or less games in their singles battles.
