Norse battle back for draw with Eastern Kentucky

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University Norse women's soccer looked to bounce back from back-to-back losses on Thursday, taking on Eastern Kentucky at home. As the rain poured down in the first half, EKU took charge with a pair of goals in the tenth and 27th minutes. The Norse responded late in the first half, with a goal from freshman Camryn Koski to reduce the deficit to one entering the break. NKU dominated the second half, recording 17 shot attempts to EKU's zero in the period. The Norse finally equalized in the 82nd minute, as Erykah Cornett finished Emma Gianino's attempt off the woodwork. Northern Kentucky had a few more chances late in the match, but the 2-2 score held.
