Norse sweep Miami (OH) in Oxford

OXFORD, OHIO – Northern Kentucky University Norse volleyball took on Miami (Ohio) on Friday night, battling the RedHawks in the first of back-to-back matchups to wrap up non-conference play. The Norse convincingly won all three sets, hitting .264 in the match, including a 21-kill third set.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
– NKU out-hit the RedHawks .264-.089 on the night, besting them in every statistical category, including points 54-36, blocks 8-4, and aces 5-2. Every Norse player with multiple kills recorded at least a .200 hitting percentage in the match. 
– Sydney Bray led the Norse with 11 points, recording eight kills, an ace, four total blocks, and nine digs. 
– Ivey Stocks had ten and a half points, recording eight kills, four total blocks, and a dig. 
– Luci Heid led NKU with ten kills, also recording a pair of digs. 
– Abby Pickard had 35 assists, two blocks, and four digs. 
– Ava Hoying had seven kills, an ace, a block, and three digs. 
– Katie Noschang recorded three kills, two aces, four blocks, and four digs.

– Allison Risley had three kills, seven digs, and an ace.
