2025 (Freshman)

  • Appeared in 12 matches, playing in 29 sets
  • Recorded 47 kills, three assists, six digs, and five blocks
  • Had a season-high of 13 kills on a .370 hitting percentage in the Horizon League Championship vs. Wright State

PREVIOUS: Luci Heid comes to Highland Heights from Stephen T. Badin High School, just north of Cincinnati, where she played for Courtney Weinheimer, with club experience with Tri-State Elite under head coach Matt Long. During her high school career, Heid's kill total moved up every year, culminating in a 467 kill senior season. In total, Heid racked up 1,378 kills and 604 digs for the Rams, and was highly efficient with her swings, hitting above .400 in each of her final three seasons. The Rams have racked up 84 wins in her four seasons. As a sophomore, Heid was named Second-Team GCL before a junior campaign that saw her named First Team All-State, First Team All-District, and First Team All-GCL. As a senior, Heid was named GCL Player of the Year and All-District Player of the Year, and a First Team All-State selection.  

PERSONAL: Luci is the daughter of Kelly & Brian Heid, and has two siblings, Harper and Hudson. Her father Brian played football at Ohio University.
