KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Northern Kentucky University's Hailey Shanahan fell out of the main draw of the USTA/ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championship on Saturday, falling to Andrea Eskauriatza of Murray State, 6-3, 6-4.
With the loss, NKU has no more players in the main draw of the tournament. On Friday, Dainelle Donahue fell to Chattanooga's Allison Storie in the qualification draw. In doubles play, Shanahan and Donahue dropped an 8-3 decision to Kaylene Chadwell and Claire Mulyadi of Chattanooga.
NKU women's tennis will begin team play in the spring.
