CHICAGO – The Northern Kentucky University women's tennis team closed out its weekend in the Windy City with a 7-0 loss to Northern Iowa.
The Panthers (10-4) took wins in the top two doubles matches to claim the first point of the match.
Rheanna Morehart claimed a 4-6 win in her opening set against Astrid Santos but could not hold on as Santos got the victory with sets of 6-0 and 6-2.

Danielle Donahue each dropped hard-fought 7-5 decisions in their first singles sets en route to losses to Elvira Lopez and Jieke Stroobant, respectively.
With the loss, NKU fell to 2-6 on the year, while Northern Iowa improved to 10-4.
The NKU women will join the men's team on a trip to the Big Apple next weekend, taking on Hartford and St. Francis (N.Y.). The Norse return home on Thursday, March 19 to host Wisconsin-Green Bay. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
