INDIANAPOLIS – Northern Kentucky University had 96 student-athletes named to the 2018 Horizon League Spring Academic Honor Roll, as announced by the league office on Thursday afternoon.
NKU's 96 honor roll members helped set a department record 3.46 GPA in the Spring 2018 semester. For the first time in athletic department history, each team posted a semester GPA above 3.0. In fact, all 15 programs achieved a GPA of at least 3.13.
To be eligible for the Horizon League Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must have participated in the most recent or current season of their sport, complete three semesters as a full-time student at the same institution, and have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.20.
In total, 973 student-athletes across the Horizon League were recognized for the honor.
