MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Northern Kentucky women's soccer team was shut out, 3-0, by Milwaukee on Saturday afternoon.

- Mimi Stines made four saves, faced 24 shots and allowed the trio of goals.
MATCH SUMMARY
- NKU had little trouble getting into the final third and exerting pressure on Milwaukee's goalkeeper during the first five minutes. Despite the strong start, the Norse were unable to get a shot attempt off.
- Each team settled into a defensive standoff from there and by the 18th minute, only three shots were registered in the contest, all coming from Milwaukee.
- The young Norse back line stayed strong for most of the half despite facing several corner kicks. Unfortunately for NKU, Milwaukee's Taylor Hattori scored in the 43rd minute to give the Panthers a 1-0 advantage.
- The Norse made adjustments to begin the second half to target their struggling offensive output. Chloe Mills registered the first shot attempt for NKU in the 51st minute, followed by a Shawna Zaken attempt in the 55th minute that went wide-left.
- Stines made a key save in the 65th minute in the bottom-left corner of the net. Also keeping the match at bay was Zaken in the 69th minute with a team save.
- Milwaukee pushed the lead to 2-0 in the 72nd minute with a goal from Mackenzie Schill.
- After a short Norse injury-stoppage in the final minute, Milwaukee cushioned its lead with a goal from Natalie Auble.
NORSE NOTES
- Ella Holland made her first start of the season in the contest. Madelyn Koewler also entered the starting lineup for just the third time this season.
- Ally Perkins had NKU's only shot on goal in the contest in the 81st minute, bringing her season total up to nine.
