@NKUNorseXCTF sees new personal bests in Raleigh

RALEIGH, N.C.- The Northern Kentucky University men's and women's track and field teams opened continued their march through the outdoors season on Friday and Saturday at the highly competitive Raleigh Relays hosted by North Carolina State.
 
Women's results
  • Jennah Flairty posted a new personal best in the 1,500m, crossing the finish line at 4:39.20 (87th).
  • In the 100m hurdles, Kayla Thompson took 29th in a field of 54 runners with a time of 15.12.
  • Running in the 5,000m, Hanna Tobler clocked in with a time of time of 17:52.86 in her first outing of the outdoor season in the event.
  • The 4 x400m relay team of Lynsey Shipley, BriAunna Keys, Samantha Shaw and Savannah Brady, ran a program season-best time of 3:56.38.
  • Flarity, Elyse Black, Tobler and Kimmy Wolfe posted a top-10 time in the 4 x 1,500m, taking eighth at 19:33.17.
Men's results
  • Robbie Record checked in with a new personal best in the 100m with a time of 11.08 (32nd).
  • Alec Sandusky also clocked a personal best in the 3,000m steeplechase, crossing the finish line at 9:10.47.
  • Competing in the 10,000m, Ryan Burrows notched a time of 31:29.22.

  • The Norse will return to action at the Oliver Nikoloff Invitational hosted by Cincinnati April 5-6.
