HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky women's soccer team fell to UIC on Saturday, 1-0, at NKU Soccer Stadium.
"Congrats to UIC, they scored a goal late in the game and earned the victory." said head coach Bob Sheehan. "We earned a legitimate PK when Ashleigh was taken down in the box and it was a great goal scoring opportunity that we weren't able to execute on. Early in the second half we challenged our team to really work and they embraced that. I thought we had some great balls into space and we really attacked like we want to and it just didn't go our way."
