Wright State takes down @NKUNorseWSOC, 3-1

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky women's soccer team gave up two goals in the final ten minutes in a 3-1 loss to Wright State on Wednesday night at NKU Soccer Stadium.

"Congrats to Wright State on the win," said head coach Bob Sheehan. "I thought in the first half we played really well. I thought we created a lot of good chances, but we want to be more clinical in the final third and put some balls away. We're a little bit of a work in progress this year; we've got a young team and we're just going to keep working."

  • Mimi Stines faced eight shots, made a save and allowed the Raiders' trio of goals.
