Mimi Stines was named to the 2021 Horizon League All-Academic team this week. This is the second conference all-academic team selection for Stines as well.
• NKU is now 8-7-2 this season and sits in third place in the Horizon League with 18 points.
• NKU concludes the regular season this week on the road against rival Wright State. Kickoff is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m.

Emma McSwigan scored her first collegiate goal against Robert Morris, in what proved to be the game winner as the Norse picked up the road win at 3-2.
• Six different Norse players scored against Purdue Fort Wayne in the 6-2 home victory. NKU outscored opponents 15-5 during its seven-game winning streak earlier this year.

Lydia Self has been named the Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week twice this season. Self earned her first honor Sept. 13 and the second Sept. 20.
• Stines is the reigning #HLWSOC Defensive Player and Goalkeeper of the Year after finishing third nationally in goals against (.264) and save percent (.929), plus 14th in shutouts (7).
• Stines earned recognition as a United Soccer Coaches All-Region honoree and, the standout on both the field and in the classroom, also collected United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America and Horizon League All-Academic accolades.
