HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky baseball program head coach
Dizzy Peyton announced the 2023 schedule for the Norse Tuesday afternoon, which features 25 total home games from the Bill Aker Baseball Complex.
Northern Kentucky will open the 2023 season with neutral site series against Eastern Michigan which will be played from Hoover, Alabama on Friday Feb. 17 through Sunday Feb. 19. The Norse will see their first home action from Highland Heights on Friday, Feb. 24 with a three-game series against Western Michigan.
The Norse will see non-conference opponents Xavier, Bellarmine, Miami (OH), Dayton, Morehead State, Eastern Kentucky and Butler all visiting the Bill Aker Baseball Complex in 2023. NKU will hit the road against non-conference foes Eastern Kentucky, Murray State, Texas A&M, Dayton, Bellarmine, Butler and Louisville.
Horizon League play will begin on Friday, March 17 at home with a three-game series against the Panthers of Milwaukee from the Bill Aker Baseball Complex. Additionally the Norse will host Wright State, Oakland, Purdue Fort Wayne and Youngstown State for Horizon League series as well.
