GREENSBORO, N.C. – The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) and Rawlings announced its 2026 All-Region teams on Tuesday, with
Jake Paulick earning the nod as the All-Midwest Region Second Team catcher.
It marked another accolade for Paulick, who earned Horizon League Player of the Year, All-League First Team, All-Academic, a pair of Batter of the Week awards, and CSC Academic All-District honors in his 2026 campaign. The Norse catcher batted .328 in 53 games with a 1.091 OPS on the season, clubbing 14 home runs and recording 15 doubles. Paulick batted in 51 runs and scored 59 times on the season, and walked a remarkable 44 times as he recorded an on-base percentage of .475.
Paulick becomes the fifth Norse to earn ABCA All-Region DI honors in program history, joining
Logen Devenport in 2025, Liam McFadden-Ackman in 2024, Noah Fisher in 2023, and Griffin Doersching in 2021. It marks the fourth-straight year that the Norse have had an ABCA All-Region honoree.
The ABCA All-America Team was first recognized in 1949 and now spans nine divisions: NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, NAIA, NJCAA Divisions I, II, and III, the Pacific Association Division, and high school. ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove teams were first recognized in 2007.
