Women’s Basketball drops conference clash with Milwaukee

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – The Northern Kentucky women's basketball program dropped a conference tilt to visiting Milwaukee by a 75-67 margin inside Truist Arena on Sunday afternoon.

NORSE NOTES
- Davis has completely rounded back into elite form after an early-season injury with another strong game on Sunday. It was her fourth-straight contest with 15-plus points. She has averaged 16 points over her last four games played.
- McCray just missed out on yet another double-double with 13 points and nine bords. The standout freshman has now posted 11 contests with double-digit points and 12 games with eight-plus boards. She leads the Horizon league with an average of 9.5 rebounds per contest and is now ranked eighth overall in scoring at 12.7 points per game.
- Mitchell-Steen (11 points) and Basye (11) made it four Norse in double-figures. Mitchell-Steen also recorded a game-best four steals.
- NKU held a 15-13 lead after the first quarter and Milwaukee moved slightly ahead at the half with a 32-31 edge.
 - Both squads finished with 22 points in the third before the Panthers won the final frame, 21-14, to collect the 75-67 win.
