HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — Former Northern Kentucky men's basketball standout Chris Brandon is continuing his professional career, as the Houston, Texas native has signed with the LBBL's Musel Pikes. The LBBL is the highest men's basketball league in Luxembourg.
Brandon recently finished his rookie season with USBC Graz in the Austrian WIN2DAY League, where he averaged 9.1 points and 8.4 rebounds per game. USBC Graz made it all the way to the WIN2DAY Finals, with Brandon playing a vital role in their postseason run. During the season, Brandon posted a season-best 24 points once and added a pair of 16 rebound games as a rookie.
Brandon played his final season at the collegiate level as a Norse after four years at Detroit Mercy, playing a big role in Northern Kentucky's Horizon League Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance. Brandon established himself as one of the top rebounders in the Horizon League, leading the league in offensive rebounds per game (3.12) and leading NKU in total offensive boards (100). He had a pair of double-doubles during the season with eight 10+ rebound performances.
