NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Northern Kentucky University Norse Women's Basketball took on Stetson on Tuesday afternoon, opening the Coast2Coast Music City Classic in Nashville. The Norse couldn't keep up with Stetson's three-point barrage, dropping the neutral site contest by 26 points.

BOX SCORE BREAKDOWN
- Stetson shot a lights-out 17-34 from beyond the arc in the game, with 11 of those makes coming in the second half. The Norse shot just 8 of 28 from distance. 
- NKU had a rough start to the game offensively, going 3-17 from the floor in the first quarter. The Norse scored just nine first-quarter points. After bringing Stetson's lead from 15 to eight in the second quarter, the Hatters continued to rain threes in the third, pushing the game out of hand as they out-scored NKU 26-12. 
- Maddie Moody led the Norse in scoring off the bench, going for 16 points and nine rebounds. 
- Mia Jordan tallied NKU's first double-double of the season, scoring 10 and recording 12 rebounds.
- Noelle Hubert went 3-5 from distance, her second game this season with three made triples (11/16 @ Butler).
- Kylee Hunt dropped seven points with two rebounds and an assist in 16 minutes. 
- Apart from Moody, Jordan, Hubert, and Hunt, the Norse struggled offensively, as all other players combined to go 5-30 from the floor and 2-15 from three-point land.
