INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Northern Kentucky University Norse Men's Basketball guard Ethan Elliott was named Horizon League Freshman of the Week on Monday, following NKU's 24-point win over Central Michigan on Thursday. 

Elliott, who has started every game for the Norse in the 2025-26 season, picked up the award following an eight-assist, seven-point performance in NKU's lone game of the week. Elliott also added three steals, which marked a career high. 

The Perth, Australia native currently leads the Horizon League in assists per game with 5.2 dimes. He ranked 18th in assists/game nationally among all players last week. In the 2025-26 season, Elliott ranks inside the top 150 players in the nation in assists, assists per game, and assist/turnover ratio. 

The Norse take on Eastern Kentucky on Monday night at Truist Arena, with tip-off at 7 PM.
