Lilly Yordy named to United Soccer Coaches All-North Region Third Team

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. – Northern Kentucky University Norse women's soccer graduate student-athlete Lilly Yordy earned a prestigious national honor on Wednesday, as she was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-North Region Third Team.

"I continue to be so proud of Lilly," said Norse head coach Bob Sheehan. "She has consistently demonstrated a tremendously high skill set, passion for the game, and commitment to excellence. She has been recognized as an all-conference player each of the three years she was with us, and this prestigious award is a fitting tribute to her strong contributions to our program. Well deserved Lilly!"

Yordy had a remarkable 2025 campaign with the Norse, earning a nod to the Horizon League All-League First Team with a pair of conference Offensive Player of the Week awards to boot. Yordy started in all of NKU's 19 matches, leading the Norse with 23 total points, a mark that ranked third in the Horizon League. She led the conference in assists with nine, and in shot attempts (55) and shots on goal (29). Yordy netted three game-winning goals on the season, scoring seven total.
