BATAVIA, Ohio — Northern Kentucky men's golf put together a great performance at its annual home tournament this week, as the Norse had both an A and B team on display at The Jewell.
NKU had three student-athletes finish in the Top 11, with the A team finishing just one shot back from the winning team.

TEAMS (IN ORDER OF FINISH): Wright State, Northern Kentucky A, IU Indy, Bellarmine, Robert Morris, Youngstown State, Cleveland State, Detroit Mercy, Northern Kentucky B, Green Bay, Mercyhurst
HIGHLIGHTS - A TEAM
- Both Luke Muller and Micah Bertram finished T-6th individually at even par (142) for the event. Muller shot +1 in the first round and -1 in the second, while Bertram shot a pair of rounds at even par.
- Isaac Moody finished 23rd at +3 (145). Moody shot a 73 in round one and a -1 70 in round two.
- Zack Beard finished +5 (71, 76 — 146), making four birdies.
- Justin Gabbard made four birdies at the tournament, finishing at +7 (74, 75 — 179).
HIGHLIGHTS - B TEAM
- Cooper Eberle finished 11th, shooting +1 for the tournament (73, 70 — 143). Eberle made four birdies in his second round 70 and seven overall.
- Brady Holmes finished at +7 (73, 76 — 149), making five birdies at the tournament.
- Both Mason Butler (74, 78 — 152) and Evan Stewart (72, 80 — 152) finished at +10.
- Tyler Mitts finished at +14 (75, 81 — 156).
UP NEXT
- Northern Kentucky has 10 more days to prepare for the Horizon League Championships, as the Norse will tee it up next in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida at the league championships.
