HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — Northern Kentucky head men's golf coach and NKU Hall of Famer David Shearer has finalized the program's Fall schedule, announced on Monday.
The Norse are set to compete in five tournaments, with the Fall slate teeing off in Huntington, WV at Marshall's Joe Feaganes Invitational, an event the Norse finished seventh in last season.
In addition to the Joe Feaganes Invitational, the Norse will travel to Michigan for the Oakland Golden Grizzlies Intercollegiate and the Ball State Invitational in the month of September. Last season, NKU finished ninth at Oakland's annual Fall tournament, with returner Zack Beard finishing Top 5.
In October, NKU will play in a pair of tournaments in Ohio, beginning with the Cleveland State Invitational and closing the Fall slate with the Xavier Invitational. Last season, NKU picked up a second place team finish at the Cleveland State Invitational during the Fall of 2024.
NKU returns six players from last season's roster for the 2025-26 campaign, led by Second Team All-Horizon League selection Zack Beard. Micah Bertram, Mason Butler, Caleb Eaglin, Brady Holmes, and Isaac Moody are all back as well, with newcomers Grant Broughton, Michael Long, and Xander Tucker all set to compete for the Norse this season.
