HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. - Northern Kentucky University Norse women's triathlon was featured for the first time in program history inside of the top 25 in the Collegiate Triathlon Coaches Association (CTCA) rankings coming in at 23rd place, the association announced on Wednesday. This was the first ranking release of the year for the fall season, with rankings being released weekly through the end of the Nationals (Nov 8th). This marks the highest ranking ever record for the second-year program.
Coach Doughtie noted, "All the credit goes to our student athletes who show up and work hard every day. I think this is going to motivate our program to be ready for Prairie State Collegiate Cup on October 4th, that is the highest weighted race of our regular season".
