ANGOLA, Ind. - The Northern Kentucky University Norse women's triathlon team took on three other teams at the Trine Splash & Dash at Crooked Lake. The race consisted of a 750m swim and a 1.7mi run. The Norse finished 3^rd in the team standings, behind Central College and Trine University and ahead of Chicago State University.

NOTABLES
Alisha Detmer was edged out in a sprint finish for 1^st overall, finishing in 2^nd place with a 750m swim time of 13:00 and a 1.7mi run in 10:24 for an overall time of 23:46.
-Fallon Bright finished 2^nd for the Norse and 7^th overall with a swim time of 13:28 and run time of 13:22 for an overall time of 27:00.
-Maggie Wilson completed a trio of Norse finishing in the top 10th, with a 10^th place finish with a swim time of 13:39 and a run time of 13:53 with an overall time of 28:03.
-Molly Eide finished 13^th overall with a swim time of 12:54 and a run time of 14:48 for an overall time of 28:28.
-Rounding out the scoring for the Norse was Warren Lampkowski-Sowle who led the Norse out of the swim and finished 15^th overall with a swim time of 12:32 and a run time of 15:48 for an overall time of 28:41.
