Megan Molner tabbed #HLWSOC Offensive Player of the Week

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – After a perfect opening weekend in conference play, Northern Kentucky University Norse women's soccer junior Megan Molner earned Horizon League Offensive Player of the Week honors, the league announced on Monday.

"Congratulations to Megan," said Norse head coach Bob Sheehan. "She has shown excellent composure and skill in finishing chances."

Molner scored a pair of game-winning goals on the weekend, scoring the opening goal in a 4-0 win over Oakland on Thursday and the lone goal in a 1-0 road victory over IU Indy on Sunday. Molner also recorded an assist, her first of the season, in the win over Oakland.

Molner has had a remarkable junior season so far, scoring seven goals in 2025, a mark that's tied for the Horizon League lead.

NKU continues Horizon League play this weekend, as the Norse head to Wisconsin to take on Green Bay and Milwaukee.
